Tell a story that begins with a ransom note.

This was the first thing I stumbled upon when I entered my apartment after work today. It was just sitting there on the chair. Naturally, my first thought was "Who the hell wrote this?" I then looked at my watch and realized I only had about an hour and a half left. I flipped the ransom note and I saw what looked like a bunch of puzzle pieces printed onto the note. I quickly grabbed a pair of scissors and began to cut all of the little pieces, placing them carefully on my bed. It took me about a minute to piece them together to reveal yet another message.

How creepy. Frightening, actually. Was this not a silly little game like I had originally thought? I looked up from the puzzle pieces and saw something on the shelf of the headboard which I hadn't seen previously. It was a digital camera. I went closer to see that it was on the "Record Video" mode.

"Are you hiding my next clue?" I asked the camera. I decided to stop recording and look at the playback. There were pictures; more clues!

After the pictures, there was one last video of a recording of a YouTube page with Chris Brown singing:
"Oh! I'm into you, And girl, No one else would do. 'Cause with every kiss and every hug, you make me fall in love. And now I know I can't be the only one, I bet there heart's all over the world tonight, With the love of their life who feels What I feel when I'm ... "

"With you, with you, with you, with you, with you, girl." I chime in to finish where the song got cut. It took a good three minutes, but I finally solved the picture puzzle. "I would like to share some chocolate with you." Well, that's great, I love chocolate. Now where would that chocolate be? I went into my kitchen. There was nothing on the counters. Maybe in the fridge? I looked inside and saw three chocolate containers. One was red, the other blue and the third green. There taped to the edge of one of the shelves was yet another puzzle. This time it was a maze puzzle and it looked as though there were three potential exits, each with a different colored dot, red, blue and green, at the end.

I started from the center and worked my way out. This was the most challenging one yet. After a solid 5 minutes, I was done. It was the red box. I opened it up and saw a piece of paper with what looked like coordinates. Out of curiousity, I opened the other two boxes which had different coordinates as well. I walked to my computer and plugged the coordinates into google and found my next destination. It was a park.

New Book

For Christmas, one of my best friends gave me the book "642 Things to Write About". Here's my attempt to do some writing and get the creativity flowing!
